Spread the love

Modern life complexities have become part of our rather simple lives. They are uninvited guests that decided to stay forever, bugging us in our day to day existence. A little breather from the hustle and bustle is always a nice welcome.

Some of us can easily find comfort through travelling or shopping. There are those who find solace by doing a movie marathon, or having a relaxing massage or spa. No matter what we prefer in lives, we all can agree that munching a delicious treat is always a winner. A more convenient and easier option to “defrag” is by dining alfresco. It lets you appreciate the basic while indulging in a relaxed, laid-back setting. Check out Back2Basic Garden Grill in Tanay, Rizal.

PLACE

Back2Basic is a garden grill restaurant hidden amongst a residential area at the end of Jimenez Compound in Tanay, Rizal. It offers an outdoor dining area that looks out onto an open-air space and verdant lawns. Back2Basic is laid-back and off-the-cuff; but the scenic, close-to-nature ambience emanates an old romantic vibe.

If you are with the kids in tow, they will have spacious playground to play on. They can even pick wild berries, too! Back2Basic is also a pet-friendly destination, so you can enjoy bringing your furfriends along for an afternoon stroll.

The place is still raw. It still needs lots of fixing, and maybe, rigorous landscaping. However, if you are on for an insouciant meal setting surrounded by big trees and various plants sprawled everywhere, check out Back2Basic. The place is open from Monday to Sunday from 10AM to 10PM.

Their Babyback Ribs was inspired by a prominent restaurant in Cebu, and their homemade Yogurt Topped with Preserved Strawberries has been patterned from Sagada.

Their fall-off-the-bones spare ribs can be combined with any of the five available sauce – sweet BBQ, honey glaze, spicy BBQ, and sweet & spicy. Side dishes to choose from are mashed sweet potato, and nachos platter. You see, you will never run out of options!

Everything here is made from scratch; no wonder why everyone is raving about how everything bursts with flavors.
