There are several negative reviews about Apple One Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant Cebu online but we still decided to give it a try when we visited Cebu because (1) the husband loves Thai foods and (2) it is something not about “Lechon” (if you know what I mean :D). Also because, I have this notion that Thai cuisine is an acquired taste so not everyone, especially Filipinos, can enjoy them.

Anyway, good thing we did eat there. The set of foods we ordered, the city views from above, and the staff of the place were all great and satisfying.

OUR ORDERS – FOODS & PRICES AT BLUE ELEPHANT CEBU

Blue Elephant offers two different types of dining experiences – al fresco dining and indoor VIP lounge.

For al fresco, each person is required to spend a minimum of ₱300. For the indoor VIP lounge, it will be a minimum of ₱350 per person. We chose the indoor VIP lounge and we got all hygge with coolness and grandness of the place.

MENU: They serve ala carte and most of the items in their menu are for sharing. Expect mostly Thai foods in the options. Check here for the menu.

We had the following when we dined in:

  • Chicken Terriyaki – ₱270
  • Original Roti – ₱195
  • Garlic Shrimp Pasta – ₱320
  • Chicken in Yellow Curry – ₱390 (no photo)

I enjoyed my pasta with huge chunks of shrimps. The noodles were perfectly cooked.

The original roti tasted good, too. Skye liked it! Surprisingly, the roti also went pretty well with the Chicken in Yellow Curry. JimBry loved the pairing.

The Chicken Teriyaki was the bummer. It was easy to say that the ingredients used were no longer fresh but it seems Skye still gave it a thumbs up when it was paired with rice. In fact, she enjoyed the pairing.

Spent ₱1,185.50 (10% service charge included) for this set, and we think it’s just fair. We’re all satisfied and happy.

BLUE ELEPHANT CEBU LOCATION

The primary selling point of Apple One Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant Cebu is its location. Situated on the 19th floor (the top floor) of Apple One Tower (a building with a huge apple logo) it gives a jaw-dropping panorama of the city. Apple One Tower is conveniently located at Cebu Business Park, right beside Ayala Center Cebu and Marriott Hotel.

If you are looking for a romantic dining place while in Cebu, you cannot go wrong with Apple One Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant.

THE STAFF & SERVICE

Blue Elephant Cebu staff were all very accommodating, attentive, and kind. The service was splendid.

WHAT LOVE. EAT. WANDER. CAN SAY?

Overall, they have good food, great ambiance, and a nice service.  We loved the location. It is definitely a great place to hang out with friends or family. If we happen to visit Cebu again, we’ll make sure again dine at Apple One Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant.
