Paradizoo Tagaytay Review & Travel Guide

Spread the love

Paradizoo Tagaytay is a 10-hectare lot offering a small zoo of several farm animals, a flower garden, a vegetable garden, a small butterfly garden, and a showroom of bees busy making honey. It has a very refreshing and laid-back countryside feel.

There is nothing much to see in Paradizoo that is worth the ₱199 entrance fee (cheaper here), quite disappointing for its marketing claim “Paradizoo is a combination of zoo and themepark making it the only themefarm concept in Metro Tagaytay.” It’s a vast place, yes. It’s just that the management was not able to maximize the use of the land.

Paradizoo and Zoori (Zoo at Residence Inn) are under the management of Zoomanity Group. If you have been to both places, you will ask yourself why these people behind Zoomanity Group prefer stacking their animals all up in one place (you will find most of their animals in small cages in Zoori) instead of using their expansive land in Paradizoo as the one-stop go-to place for people to enjoy both the flora and fauna. Ah, yah, profit.

If only they can replicate Avilon Zoo, I guess it would be better, not only for the tourists but also for their business.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN PARADIZOO TAGAYTAY

Do not expect much. This theme park only offers something usual or normal.

Farm animals where you can find camels, horses, donkeys, ducks and chickens, goats, cows, sheep, rabbits, and others. Some of them are just roaming around, some are grazing fresh grass is a big field, while some are prancing to and fro in their filthy cages.

If you want the usual zoo animal sight – tigers, monkeys, crocodiles, snakes, etc. – go to Zoori or Zoo at Residence Inn which also located in Tagaytay.

Other attractions are the flower garden where you can find, well, flowers of various colors and shapes and the vegetable garden where you can find rows and rows of green leafy vegetables. The place where we enjoyed and learned from a lot was the Butterfly/Bees Garden.

If you want to get the most out of your “Tagaytay Nature Tour” it’s best to visit both the Paradizoo and Zoori.
