Watercamp Resort Review

Watercamp Resort in Kawit, Cavite may not be the best place to spend a memorable escapade with the family, but if you are looking for something accessible, affordable, and fun, it definitely offers something to enjoy. The Water Camp Resorts water adventure can promise a day (or two) of great romping, excitement, and relaxation.
HOW TO GET TO WATERCAMP RESORT
By Public Transportation
- From Baclaran, take the bus going to Cavite City or Noveleta. Fare is Php30-Php40 per person. If the bus will take Cavitex route from Baclaran, you can avoid the congested traffic in Aguinaldo Highway and it would only take you around 1 hour to your destination.
- You will see the Aguinaldo Shrine before reaching Panamitan in Kawit, Cavite where Watercamp is located. Tell the driver/conductor to drop you off at Watercamp or Josephine Resort. It is a well-known destination so there should be no challenge in finding the place.
- From the highway, walk approximately 300 meters to reach Watercamp Resort. It is inside a big subdivision. Alternatively, you can ride tricycles outside the subdivision that will bring you to Watercamp for a fee. But if you want to save a little and exercise a little, just walk.
You can also ride buses going to Naic or Ternate but you will have to alight the vehicle right after Covelandia Road corner Tirona Highway. From there, ride a minibus bound for Noveleta or Cavite City.

- Watercamp resort has 6 swimming pools – The Mini Wave Pool, Kidney-shaped Pool with slides, the 160-meter Lazy River, Children’s Interactive Pool, Dunk Pool for two level slides, and an adult pool with waterfalls. The lazy river surrounding the different swimming pool divisions, was our personal favorite. It has water spa areas and strong currents at certain parts.
- Every pool has an assigned lifeguard. What a sweet treat for parents with kids in tow.
- There are 20 fully air-conditioned rooms, 4 family villas, and 3 superior rooms available for rent if you plan to stay overnight. Some of them are equipped with a cable TV, hot & cold shower, 24-hour room service, stand-by generator, kitchenette, and refrigerator.
- A charcoal grilling station where you can cook barbecue and grill fish is also available. Just make sure not to leave unused charcoals by the grill as some guests might mistake them as theirs and use them without your permission. The shower room is clean and the lots of cubicles. OUR PLATE OF UNSOLICITED ADVICE
We understand that the resort has to require guests to pay the entrance fee in order to earn; but we think charging toddlers and infants is a little way too much! This is the only resort that I know of which charges little ones for entrance fee.
SIDE TRIP
If you have time, we highly suggest that you drop by the Aguinaldo Shrine – the ancestral home of Emilio Aguinaldo which has been converted into a museum, a National Shrine of the Philippines. Emilio Aguinaldo is the first President of the Republic of the Philippines.
